I can’t believe the summer is marching on (particularly seeing as the glorious June weather here in the UK has turned to rain-soaked days in July…) but here we are at the end of another month.
Despite the busyness, I have managed to finish my first read of the year! 'The Insperables' is the newly discovered novel by Simone de Beauvoir.
What I have found this year is that just thinking about and setting challenges allows for a re-think of how you are spending your time and money.
Kit de Waal speaks of life being too short to finish books you aren't connecting with. I think this is true, to a certain extent, but it can also be complicated.
If you feel inspired to return to study, don't let your age or worries about how good you were in school put you off.
